About Us

SMF Level Editor Codes Online is a place to share user-created levels with the world. We have a modest (but ever-growing) collection of levels to flip through, and we encourage you to add your own.

When I first started this site, I was just a kid and just doing it because it was fun, and to satisfy my younger brothers. I checked the site when it was fun to do so, but as you might imagine, younger-me had a relatively short attention span and I didn't hold up all that well. Go back and check the dates on the post history if you want an idea of how sporadic it was. That was February 2011, almost six years ago. Since then, this site has grown up along with me - I'm in college, and the site has a database full of levels waiting to be tested and posted. I've done my best to put a few out there, but to be honest I'm not a kid anymore and I don't have free time like I used to.

I've always been amazed that, even six years after I randomly started this blog, we now receive up to 5,000 pageviews a month! It's not a statistic you'd find impressive if you compared it to just about any other website you regularly visit, but I'm sure my twelve-year-old self would have been amazed. And on that note, I felt that the site was too cool to abandon. So despite my lack of free time, I've decided to keep going, and I plan to greatly increase my number of posts in the near and long-term future. However, in order for me to make this site a significant piece of my life, I have to make it work for me. This is the reason you may begin to see some ads on our site. I've been promised by Google that these ads will be non-intrusive, and although I'm not buying that they will unilaterally be a "positive user experience" as Google suggests, my hope is that the amount they bug people will be offset by the number of new posts I'll be able to produce. If they turn out to be an issue, please let me know via the Questions and Comment form and I'll do my best to resolve any issues, and, if necessary, remove third-party content from SMFLEC entirely.

And of course, please note that we do not own the Super Mario Flash game.  It is available for you to play on this site, but the original game was created by www.pouetpu-games.com. We're only here to provide level codes for people to share.

Thanks for playing!
